Older Trucks, More to Check
On an older 4x4 a flat battery is often a symptom rather than the cause. Corroded terminals, a tired earth strap, or an aftermarket light bar or winch wired straight to the battery can all drain it or stop it charging. Replace the battery without looking at those and the problem comes back. We check the cables, the earths and anything added since the truck left the factory, then fit the replacement.
The H1 carries two batteries working together, and they should be tested as a pair and normally replaced as a pair, because a fresh battery wired to a tired partner gets pulled down to its level. The H2 and H3 use a single battery, sized in American group codes with plenty of cranking current for the engine. Each unit is covered by the warranty its maker gives.
