Your Battery Warranty, Explained
We back every battery we sell with a 12-month, 18-month or 24-month manufacturer warranty, set by brand and model. This guide explains plainly what is covered, what keeps the cover in force, and how to claim.
The length of cover you receive
12 months
The usual term for a wide range of economy and budget batteries.
18 months
Middle-range batteries backed by a longer performance promise.
24 months
Premium long-life batteries and units with greater capacity.
Keeping your cover in force
- Hold on to the original invoice or receipt - it is what proves your warranty.
- Have the battery fitted professionally (by our technicians or an approved fitter, ideally).
- Do not interfere with the battery or its terminals.
- Carry out simple upkeep: clean terminals, a firmly fixed battery, and no running it completely flat.
- Should you suspect a charging fault, have the alternator and charging system tested - claims can be refused when failures keep recurring because of charging problems.
How to claim, step by step
- 01Phone us or email our support team with the purchase details and information about the car.
- 02Give us the original invoice or the order number.
- 03We will book a diagnostic test, either where the car is or at a workshop.
- 04Where the fault is covered, the battery is repaired or replaced in line with the warranty terms.
- 05Where it is not, we explain the cause and give you an open quote to repair or replace it.
