Our Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026.

Set out below is the personal data Mobile Car Battery Replacement gathers, the reasons we gather it, the length of time we hold it, the parties we pass it to, and the rights you have in relation to it. The policy is drafted to comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, the federal data protection statute of the UAE, in force from 2 January 2022.

It covers this website and every job our technicians attend, however the booking was made: by phone, over WhatsApp or online.

1. About Us

Mobile Car Battery Replacement runs a mobile automotive assistance business based at Zaa'beel Second, DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our technicians come to vehicles on the roadside, at people's homes and at their places of work throughout Dubai and the neighbouring emirates.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law we are the Data Controller of the personal data this policy describes. In other words, the decisions about what is gathered and for what reason are ours, and so is the accountability. To contact whoever deals with data enquiries, go through our contact page.

2. The Information We Gather

We gather no more than is needed to find you, fit the right part and stand behind the warranty later on. It falls under four headings:

a. Information you provide when booking

  • Your name, and the mobile number we use to ring you back
  • Your email address if you choose to share it, so that an invoice or warranty record can be sent to you
  • Where the vehicle is, including any location pin you send us on WhatsApp

b. Information about your vehicle

  • Its make, model and year, from which the right specification is worked out
  • Its plate or registration details, where an invoice or a warranty claim calls for them
  • The technician's findings and the parts fitted, held as the service record your warranty rests on

c. Information about payment

Card payments are handled by the payment provider through the terminal the technician carries. What reaches us is the amount and whether the payment went through. Your full card number is never stored by us.

d. Technical information from the site

The routine details any browser passes on, for example the kind of device, a rough location derived from the IP address, and which pages were opened. We look at this in aggregate to learn which pages help people and to keep the site safe.

Sensitive personal data, in the sense the UAE Personal Data Protection Law gives that term, is not something we request or have any need to keep. Please do not send us information about your health, biometrics, religion or anything comparable.

3. Our Purposes and the Lawful Basis for Each

Each use of personal data must rest on a lawful basis under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. We rely on these:

  • Sending a technician out and finishing the work you requested. Basis: performing the contract we have with you.
  • Billing you and maintaining the accounts that UAE tax and commercial law obliges us to maintain. Basis: meeting a legal obligation.
  • Dealing with a warranty claim, for which we need to check what was fitted and on what date. Basis: performing the contract.
  • Replying to a question you have sent and keeping a record of the correspondence. Basis: our legitimate interest in operating the business and in being able to show what was agreed.
  • Sending you service reminders or offers. Basis: your consent, which can be withdrawn whenever you wish.

When consent is our basis, we have to be able to prove it was given, so we record the date and the way in which you gave it.

4. Those We Pass It To

Personal data is never sold by us, nor exchanged for marketing. It is passed on only where the work or the law makes that necessary:

  • The technician sent to your vehicle, who must know where you are and what the vehicle is
  • A manufacturer or authorised distributor, when a warranty claim on a part must be made through them
  • Payment providers, which handle the card payment
  • Professional advisers, insurers and auditors, provided they owe a duty of confidentiality
  • A competent court, regulator or authority in the UAE, where the law obliges us to make a disclosure

A supplier handling data for us does so as a Data Processor, following our written instructions, and is not permitted to use that data for any purpose of its own.

5. Sending Data Abroad

As far as we can, we keep our records inside the UAE. However, some ordinary business tools, email and site analytics among them, are run by providers with servers outside the country. When personal data is transferred abroad we use the conditions for transfer that the UAE Personal Data Protection Law allows, including transfer to a jurisdiction recognised as giving adequate protection and transfer under suitable contractual safeguards.

6. Retention Periods

Personal data is held only for as long as its purpose calls for:

  • An enquiry that does not lead to a job is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been closed
  • Records of jobs and warranties are held while the warranty runs and for a reasonable time after it ends, so any claim can still be checked
  • Invoices and accounts are held for as long as UAE tax and commercial law demands
  • A record of marketing consent is held until the consent is withdrawn, after which we keep a record of the withdrawal to show that we respected it

7. The Rights UAE Law Gives You

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you have rights in relation to your data. You are entitled to:

  • Find out what we hold on you and obtain a copy
  • Have anything incomplete or wrong corrected
  • Have it erased, where no obligation requires us to retain it
  • Have a specific use halted or limited
  • Object to processing that relies on our legitimate interests as its basis
  • Obtain the data you supplied in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it transferred at your request
  • Withdraw consent given earlier, with no effect on anything done before the withdrawal

Any of these can be exercised through our contact page. Before acting we will ask you to prove who you are, so that no one else can get hold of your data simply by requesting it, and we will reply within the time the law permits.

Should our response leave you unsatisfied, you can raise a complaint with the UAE Data Office, the federal body in charge of personal data protection.

8. Cookies and Analytics

A limited number of cookies are used on this site. Certain ones are strictly necessary, since without them the site cannot run. The rest are analytics cookies that show us, in aggregate, which pages visitors find helpful. The site does not need analytics cookies in order to work, and turning them down will not cost you access to any part of it.

All modern browsers allow you to view the cookies a site has placed, remove them and prevent new ones. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the site may not behave as they should.

9. Keeping It Secure

The law calls for technical and organisational measures that are appropriate to the level of risk. Our measures include delivering this site over an encrypted connection, restricting access to customer and job records to those whose work needs it, and binding staff and contractors to confidentiality.

Absolute security is something no system can promise, and we make no such claim. Should a breach happen that is likely to harm your privacy or your rights, we will inform the UAE Data Office and, where legally required, you as well.

10. Minors

It is adults who arrange our services, and this site is not aimed at children. We never knowingly gather data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has passed personal data to us, let us know through our contact page and it will be deleted.

11. Sites Run by Others

When we link to a manufacturer, a map service or any other third party, that site is subject to its own privacy policy rather than this one, and the way its operator treats your data is not our responsibility.

12. Updates to This Policy

Whenever this policy is revised, the date at the top of the page is changed. If a revision makes a material difference to the way we use your data, we will point that out clearly instead of leaving the new date to speak for itself.

13. Getting in Touch

Queries about this policy, requests to use your rights and any complaints are all handled in one place. Use the details below or go through our contact page.
