1. The Party You Contract With
The contract you enter into is with Mobile Car Battery Replacement, a mobile automotive assistance business trading from Zaa'beel Second, DIFC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Throughout these terms, 'we' and 'us' refer to that business, and 'you' refers to whoever books the work or owns the vehicle on which it is done.
2. Our Services
Our technicians come to vehicles at the roadside, at home or at work, and perform the work set out on the service page concerned. They diagnose before replacing anything: should the problem prove to be the alternator, the starter or the wiring rather than the part you rang about, we will tell you plainly instead of selling you something unnecessary.
Not every fault can be fixed at the roadside. When that applies we will tell you, and when recovery is the proper course we will organise it instead of trying a repair that is not safe.
3. Bookings and When We Arrive
On booking, we confirm the job and its price before sending a technician. Estimated arrival times are given honestly and are based on the closest technician to you; the average we publish is a typical figure, not a promise. Arrival can be affected by traffic, weather, access rules at a building or community, and heavy demand at busy times.
Should we expect to arrive materially later than our estimate, we will let you know, and you may then cancel without charge.
4. Prices and Paying
All prices are given in UAE Dirhams and are confirmed before any work starts. For a supply-and-fit job, the quoted price covers bringing the part to you, fitting it and the warranty that comes with it.
- Diagnosis carries no call-out fee when we then go ahead with the job
- Should further work turn out to be needed, we pause and give you a quote for it before continuing
- Payment is due once the job is finished; we take cash, card and whichever online methods are listed when you book
- Any job can have a VAT invoice issued for it on request
5. Cancelling a Job
Cancelling costs nothing at any time until a technician has been dispatched. After a technician has made the journey to you, a call-out charge may be made if you then cancel for reasons that have nothing to do with how we performed. If we are the ones who cancel, or we are unable to finish the job, there is nothing to pay.
6. Warranty Cover
Any part we supply comes with its manufacturer's warranty of 12, 18 or 24 months, according to the brand and model, and includes one replacement during that time. Terms and conditions apply, and your invoice confirms them.
Quite apart from the part's manufacturer warranty, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 obliges us to keep our workmanship free of defects for a period in proportion to the kind of service provided. Where it falls short, you have the right to have the service carried out again correctly, or to be refunded what you paid or a suitable portion of it.
Please keep your invoice or job record, as any warranty claim relies on it. The warranty excludes damage from accidents, misuse, unauthorised work done by someone else, an electrical fault underneath that you were told to have repaired, or carrying on using a part once a fault had been reported.
7. What We Ask of You
To allow the job to be carried out correctly and without danger, you agree that you will:
- Supply a correct location and correct details of the vehicle
- Hold the authority to order work on the vehicle, or have its owner's consent
- Let us know of any known faults, aftermarket electrical changes or anything out of the ordinary about the vehicle
- Make safe access possible and, if the vehicle is in a basement, a multi-storey car park or a gated community, obtain whatever permission the technician requires to get in
- Take out any valuables, and stay on hand or reachable while the job is under way
8. Safety and Environmental Care
A technician may refuse to work at a location that is not safe, such as a lane with live traffic, and will instead move the vehicle or organise recovery. Spent batteries count as hazardous waste: we take them away free of charge and have them disposed of at licensed recycling facilities as UAE environmental rules require.
9. Our Liability
Loss or damage that results from our failure to do the work with reasonable care and skill is our responsibility, and work done by our technicians is covered by our insurance.
We bear no responsibility for faults that were already present, for what follows from a fault you were told to repair and decided not to, for the loss of data or stored settings in a vehicle's onboard systems where disconnecting a power source makes that loss unavoidable, or for delays arising from events beyond our reasonable control.
Unless UAE law states otherwise, our liability on any one job is capped at what you paid for that job. These terms do not exclude liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that UAE law forbids us to exclude.
10. Raising a Complaint and Taking It Further
If there is a problem, come to us first via our contact page. The majority are sorted out the same day, and we would sooner come back and fix a job than leave you with it.
Where the two of us cannot settle it, you have the right to take it further. In Dubai, consumer complaints go to the Department of Economy and Tourism through consumerrights.gov.ae, and federally to the Ministry of Economy. We will give either our full cooperation.
11. Use of This Site
We own the words, photographs, layout and code of this site, apart from manufacturer logos and product images, which stay the property of their owners and are shown to identify the brands we carry. You are free to read, print and share pages for personal use, but not to republish them for commercial purposes or pass them off as yours.
The guides and specifications here are general information. Requirements differ from vehicle to vehicle, and none of this content takes the place of a technician confirming the right specification for yours.
12. Things Beyond Our Control
We are not in breach of these terms when something outside our reasonable control stops or delays us, such as extreme weather, closed roads, accidents, civil or government action, a utility or network outage, or a shortage of supply affecting a specific part. If that occurs we will inform you and either arrange another time, or cancel and give back any money already paid.
13. Applicable Law
The federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws of the Emirate of Dubai govern these terms. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the Dubai courts, which does not affect your right to take a consumer complaint to the competent UAE authority.
Should a clause be held unenforceable, the remaining clauses still apply.
14. Revisions to These Terms
As our business and the law evolve we revise these terms, and the date shown at the top of the page records when. Your booking is covered by the version that was published at the time you made it.
