Heat wears batteries faster than cold, which is why they commonly last 2–3 years in the UAE against four to five in cooler climates. The usual reasons a car will not start:
- Lights, a dashcam or a charger left on with the engine off
- A car parked for a week or more while the alarm and electronics slowly drain it

What Affects the Cost of a Car Jumpstart in Dubai?
The package starts from AED 99. These are the things that move the price, and each is settled on the call, not on arrival.
Where the car is
An open car park or roadside is quick to reach. A low basement, gated compound or highway shoulder can take longer, and access may need arranging with security.
Time of day
Late night, Friday morning or a public holiday, the service still runs, and the figure quoted on the phone is the figure you pay.
Engine size and battery position
Large V8s and diesels draw far more current to crank than a small hatchback and need a higher-rated jump pack. Cars with the battery in the boot are started from their remote jump terminals.
State of the battery
A battery with a failed cell, a swollen case or a reading far below 12V may start once and fail within hours. Then a jump alone is not the fix, and you are told before spending more.

Is a Jumpstart Safe for Modern Cars?
Yes, with the right equipment. The risk comes from careless cable jumps off another running car, not from jumpstarting itself:
- A regulated jump pack rather than another car's engine
- Clamps connected before the pack is switched on
- The manufacturer's remote jump terminals, where the car has them
- Stop-start cars treated as AGM or EFB batteries, not standard ones
- Hybrids and EVs jumped only through their 12V auxiliary system
Hybrids and EVs still need a 12V battery to power up; when it is flat the car will not switch on, however charged the main battery is.

If the car refuses to start again next morning, the battery or its charging is at fault, and the next step happens on the same call:
- A new battery fitted at your location, with warranty
- Alternator and charging-system diagnosis and repair
- Terminal cleaning and tightening where corrosion is the fault

After the Jumpstart: What to Do
A running engine does not mean a recharged battery. To give it the best chance:
- Drive for at least 30 minutes, at steady speed rather than in stop-go traffic
- Keep the AC, heated seats and chargers to a minimum on that first drive
- Do not switch off at the first stop; a weak battery may not restart
- Have the battery tested if it has needed two jumps in a month
- Replace a battery over 2–3 years old that has gone flat, rather than jumping it again
If it will not start after a proper drive, call us back: that means a failed battery or a charging fault, both fixed at your location.
