With normal use and sensible care, 2.5–5 years. The range is wide because heat, parking and driving pattern all have a large effect.
Yes. We supply and fit both for vehicles that need a higher-grade battery. EFB suits most cars with a basic start-stop system; AGM is for cars that left the factory with one, often those with regenerative braking or heavy electronics. Putting a standard unit in either kind of car shortens its life.
No. A memory saver keeps the ECU, radio presets, seat memory and clock powered while the batteries are exchanged. Many European cars also need the new battery registered with the car's power management, and we do that where the model requires it.
Typically 12–24 months, set by the unit. We register it when fitting, and the invoice shows the date, so you have nothing to fill in.
Yes. We replace the auxiliary 12V unit, which powers the car's computers and closes the relays that bring the hybrid system to life. The high-voltage traction pack is a job for the authorised dealer.
